The London International Creative Competition is a new but legitimate competition.

Noteworthy is the fact that their domain name has been registered to an ISP in America, although the competition itself is in the UK. This is probably so that they could secure the licc.us domain name (registering a .us domain name requires American citizenship) because licc.com, licc.org and licc.info are already taken.

A search for "london international creative competition" resulted in their website and a handful of press releases.

I tried to contact some of the jurors, and was able to get in touch with Sarah Kent, Art Editor of Time Out, London, who confirmed the legitimacy of the competition.

The competition's entry fee is also quite reasonable (£15, Students £10).

Artists are encouraged to participate, but to treat this opprotunity like any other competition in its first few years.
